On several occasions during my visits to Slab City I heard the name SOLAR MIKE mentioned.
People would tell me he is a very dependable and reliable person and an expert on solar technology.
During my last stay at the Slabs I had a chance to meet him and indeed I was impressed.
Michael Gohl must be an honest man considering that the majority of his customers are either
repeat customers or have been recommended by people who had dealings with him in the past.
As we all know, word travels fast among the boondocking community.
Mike sells new and used solar equipment, does repair work as well as installations.
What I found most important is that his advice is FREE.
At Slab City his business is conducted only during the months that the snowbirds are present,
roughly from October until May. For the rest of the year he travels to areas with a colder
climate.
